12-Week CSIA/CASI Level 1 & 2 Instructor Certification Program

January 4, 2019 – March 31, 2019

The 12-Week CSIA/CASI Level 1 & 2 Instructor Course is designed for someone looking to have a fun, team-based experience during their first ski season here in Banff. This program incorporates a wide range of ski/snowboard training, certifications and expeditions over a three month period during the winter season in the Canadian Rockies.

Students on this program engage in a diverse range of skills training and experiences with a commitment to earn certifications across several disciplines related to the outdoor adventure industry. Timberline is committed to providing the skills training, certifications and experiences that our students can leverage into meaningful future employment in the outdoor adventure industry.

For the duration of the program our students live in fully furnished apartments complete with full kitchens, wood burning fireplaces and access to exercise facilities, hot tub and sauna. It is important to us that while you are with us in Banff you are able to live in comfortable accommodation that feels like home and supports a healthy, independent lifestyle. No hotels, no hostels, no catered food.

Timberline Academy is local to Banff so our students can expect a positive, team-based atmosphere with a high level of on the ground support from the leadership team. We make every effort to engage our students in our community through weekly group activities like ice hockey, yoga, mentorship programs, cooking clinics and by participating in local volunteering initiatives.
